Darmstadt is a city of science and research, where numerous public research institutions meet companies with significant research departments. The first Science & Technology Day brought together leading players in science and technology based in Darmstadt.

Exchange of key players
This informal gathering was designed to foster exchange on existing research areas and available technologies, with the goal of identifying potential opportunities for collaboration. Synergies were created, and valuable connections established. The gathering of key players in science and technology helped to enhance the visibility of Darmstadt‘s research landscape and regional value chains. It connected people and institutions, facilitated the exchange of expertise, and enabled the shared use of technology. The Science & Technology Day thus served as a catalyst for initiating joint research projects.
This platform for exchange was enriched by inspiring keynote speeches, engaging discussions, and interactive round-table sessions on topics such as collaboration, open innovation, and responsible research. Presentations of science and technology projects with high collaboration potential provided a solid foundation for exploring concrete forms of cooperation.
The event was addressed to scientists and engineers from public research institutions, established corporations with significant R&D activities, and the start-up scene in Darmstadt and the surrounding areas. Guests from ministries, city administration and business associations were also very welcome.
