Panel Discussion with Artists and Experts
The Schader Foundation and the International Forest Art Association Darmstadt hosted a panel discussion in the context of the Global Nomadic Arts Project (GNAP) in Darmstadt on September 25.
The Global Nomadic Arts Project brouht together artists from across the world who worked at the intersection of art, ecology, and community. Following the idea of nomadic exchange, artists traveled from place to place, engaged with local environments, materials, and people, creating site-specific works that reflect both global concerns and regional contexts.
This year, GNAP took place under the theme “Democratic Landscape – Democratic Forest.” The focus lay on how artistic practices can explore, challenge, and reimagine the relationship between democracy, public space, and natural environments.
At the Schader Foundation, the emphasis was on dialogue and exchange. A panel discussion between GNAP artists and experts took place on September 25, offering insights into artistic approaches to ecological and social transformation, and opening up space for conversation with the public.
